Extrude a flange
Menu access : Sheet metal | Unite | Extrude a flange
Description :
Allows you to add a linear part to a sheet metal part using an edge of it.
General philosophy :
Click the edge from which the flange must be made.
Indicate the flange length or click a point.
Available option(s) :
The POINT
option allows to make a link between the flange length and a point of
your document. If you don't select this option and you give the flange
length by picking a point, this point will not be stored in the flange
parameters.
The With trimming
faces=Yes option allows to trim the flange by faces of another
part (sheet metal part or other) with or without offset.
faces L'option Avec des faces de limitations=OUI permet de limiter le rebord par des faces d'une autre pièce (de tôle ou non) avec ou sans décalage.
The PARAMETERS
option allows to modify the flange parameters using a dialog box 
.
The Outside
of the sheet=YES or NO option allows
to choose the flange position in relation to the edge
.
The Use a
given direction=NO option allows to specify a direction for the
flange.
