Create transition part

Menu access: Sheet metal | Transition parts | Create transition part

Description:

Allows to create common transition part with wizard.

General philosophy:

1. Choose the kind of part to create, they are classified in three categories:

• Hoppers,

• Segment bends,

• Ys.

2. Set the parameters of the selected shape.

3. Choose the initial positioning cordinate system in the drop down list and pick the destination coordinate system.

4. Then you can:

• Create a new transition part with the  NEW ELEMENT  option.

• Position the created part on another transition part with the  POSITIONING  option..

• Create a sheet metal part using the transition part with the  CREATE SHEET METAL PART option.

Specific point(s):

This function create surface parts that can be modified with the function or with the symbolic tree.
