Bend unbending

Menu access : Sheet metal | Bend types | Bend unbending
Description :
Allows to locally unbend a bend in order to create operation in the bend and the faces connected and then rebend the bend.
The objective is to get on the layout pattern the exact contour of the operation made on the unfolded sheet metal part (with the positioning dimension on the sheet metal border).

General philosophy :
Select the fixe face.
Select the moving face connected to the bend.
Realization example :
|
On the following part, we want to make a drilling in the bend. |
|
|
Step N° 1 : Bend unbending |
|
|
Step N° 2 : Drilling |
|
|
Step N° 3 : Bend rebending |
|
Specific point(s) :
The bend unbending is not possible
when bend allowances values are too big or when the internal bend radius
is null.
This function take account of bend
allowances. If a layout pattern already exist, the length of the unfolded
part depend on the bend allowances mode chosen. If this mode is changed,
the sheet metal part is re-computed.
The bend undending/rebending operations
increase the computation time of the unfolded sheet metal part.
