Description:
Allows you to unite a shape with other shapes with the possibility to trim one with the other one .

General philosophy:
Select on the LOCAL OPERATION button.
Select the shape(s) to modify.
Select the shape(s) to unite with.
Choose the faces of elements which will be used in the operation.
Example(s):
The goal is to create a rib on the grey shape using the yellow shape.

To do this, we use the local operation mode of the union function.
|
|
With the button TOOL FACES-EDGES TO IN-EXCLUDE we select the red face using the include mode.
So, TopSolid suppress the part of the yellow shape that is on the other side of the grey shape. |
Available option(s):
The Hide
tools= YES or
NO
option
allows you to set the united shapes invisible or not after the union.
You can enter a radius in order to compute a fillet
on the intersection edges of the operation.
