Mitre cut
Back to: Extended cut.
Menu access: Shape | Trim.
Description:
Allows you to trim or extend two parts having both of them a main axis. The result will trim both parts to the bisector plane to both parts main axis.
General philosophy:
Select on the "EXTENDED CUT" option.
Choose the MITRE CUT mode in the list.
Select the first shape to trim or extend.
Select the other shape to use as trimming tool.
Available option(s):
You can choose to keep a gap offset between the two elements.
Example(s):
Two extrusion components before and after the mitre cut.
Specific point(s):
When shapes are crossing
each other, you can select each arrow in order to invert its direction
and thus change the portion to keep.
