Menu access: Shape | Trim.

Description:

Allows you to trim or extend a part having a main axis up to the "first" plane of another part.

General philosophy:

1. Select on the "EXTENDED CUT" option.

2. Choose the MAIN CUT mode in the list.

3. Select the shape to trim or extend.

4. Select the other shape to use as trimming tool.

5. Choose the side to trim or extend by clicking on the arrows to invert them.

Available option(s):

 The  Hide tools= YES  or  NO  option allows you set the trimming tools invisible or not after the main cut.

 You can choose to keep a gap offset between the two elements.

Example(s):

Two extrusion components before and after the main cut.

Specific point(s):

 The shape to trim is always trimmed or extended up to the first plane of the tool shape.

 For cylindrical type tool objects, the plane is function of the main axis of the trimmed element.
