General philosophy:
Select on the "BY SWEEPING CURVE" option.
Select the shape to trim.
Select the trimming curve.
Choose the side to keep.
Available option(s):
The Hide

NO

allows you to set the trimming element invisible or not.
The Extend

allows you to extend the trimming curve if it does not go aver the edges.
You can choose to keep both parts
of the shape by selecting KEEP

You can choose between two sweeping
modes:
Sweep mode= EXTRUSION : the trimming is made using the surface generated by the extrusion of the trimming curve according to the normal of the current coordinate system. You can modify the extrusion direction using the EXTRUSION DIRECTION button.
Sweep mode= REVOLUTION : the trimming is made using the surface generated by the rotation of the trimming curve around an axis you define.
In the "Extrusion"
sweeping mode, the button >>

you to access to the extrusion length
of the sweeping curve options![]()
The INVERT
DIRECTION button
allows you to set the trimmed side (indicated by the red arrow). You can
also click on the arrow to invert it.
Specific point(s):
In the sweep mode "extrusion",
if the curve has a null area (for
example an arc blend), it is recommended to define
manually the extrusion direction.
