There is different way to evolve between the section curves. it can be choosen in the following list:

Let us see the result of each mode in the following example:

The guide curve is in blue.
The section curves are in red.
The purple arrow represent the direction of sweeping.
LINEAR:
In this mode the evolution of the mixed section curves is linear between two section curves.

NON LINEAR:
In this mode the swept shape is tangent to the normal of each section curves.

SMOOTH FREE ENDS:
The evolution is smooth with both ends free.

SMOOTH CONSTANT ENDS:
The evolution is smooth with both end constrained in tangency to the normal of the first and last sections.

SMOOTH CONSTANT START:
Only the first section is constrained in tangency and the last one is free.

SMOOTH CONSTANT TERMINATION:
Only the last section is constrained in tangency.
