Description:
Allows you to shell (or hollow) a solid shape.

General philosophy:
Select the solid shape to shell.
Enter the thickness.
Select the faces to remove.
Select OK to start the shell computation.
Available option(s):
The SKIN
button
allows you to create a surface shape using the "skin " of the
selected shape.
Using this option does not allows
you to modify the thickness after creation. If you need to, you have to
use the function Shape
| Other operation | Thicken.
The button SAME
THICKNESS FOR ALL FACES allows
you to compute a shape with a constant thickness on all faces of the solid
selected shape.
You can enter a different
thickness for other faces using the SPECIAL
FACES button.
To select the faces to remove
when you use the SPECIAL
FACES option,
you must click on the button Thickness=....
then
on the button PIERCED
FACES .
Available modification(s):
By using the icon
, you can :
Change the value of all the thicknesses you defined.
Add pierced faces or special faces by using the button ADD .
