Propagate operation

Menu access: Shape | Propagation

Description:

Allows you to propagate operations.

General philosophy:

1. Choose the operation to propagate by selecting a face linked to the operation.

2. Choose the propagation to apply:

Available option(s):

If a propagation has already been done on an operation, it is possible to cumulate it with a new one. To do this, use the  CUMULATE  button that appear when selecting an operation that is already propagated.

Specific point(s):

If you already have apply a propagation to another operation, you can select it in order to recover its propagation.

The propagation of the tool is made before the operation. It means that for subtraction, union and intersection operations the fillets will be computed on all tools.

Limitation(s):

The supported operations are the following ones:

• Drilling,

• Pocket,

• Boss,

• Rib,

• Slot,

• Subtraction,

• Union,

• Intersection,

• Trimming by faces.

It is not possible to propagate an operation already propagated (in this case, the new propagation will replace the initial propagation), for this use a sum or a multiplication of propagations.

Available modification(s):

By using the icon , you can:

• Modify the different parameters of the propagation by using the respecting buttons.

• Exclude entities from the propagation.
