Description:
Allows you to create a shape going through a list of curves or edges
![]()
General philosophy:
Select the first curve or edge and choose its direction.
Select the next curves or edges and choose their directions.
Choose the end type when all your curves are selected.
Available option(s):
The button CLOSED
allows
you to "loop" the sweeping of the curves.![]()
You can impose a specific tangency
at the start and the end of the loft by clicking the followings buttons
before selecting the curve on which you want to apply it:
START
WITH TANGENT and
STOP
WITH TANGENT .
You can create a loft with only starting tangent and ending tangent and without passing curves. Then, it will create a tangent blend between the two tangent reference surfaces.
When curves are closed, you can choose
the type of shape to create with the option Type=
SOLID or
SURFACE
TYPE . When you choose the solid type, the created shape will be
solid if possible. If not, not any message will appear.
The list
allows you
to choose the correspondence between the curves
The option
allows
you to choose the type of synchronization
between the curves.
The option Curves=
VISIBLE or
HIDDEN
allows
you to keep visible or not the curves after the ruled shape is created.
Example(s):

Specific point(s):
You must select the different
passing curves in order.
The directions of all curves
must be the same.
All curves must be from the
same type (open or closed).
Available modification(s):
By using the "modify" function,
you can:
change the correspondence between the curves by using the button MATCHING .
change the shape type (solid or surface type).
