Draft on edge

Menu access: Shape | Draft

Description:

Allows you to draft one or several faces of a solid or surface using a 3D edge of the reference for the draft.

Faces must be planar, ruled, cylindrical or conical faces.

General philosophy:

1. Select on the  DRAFT ON EDGE  button.

2. Select the mold opening direction.

3. Enter the draft angle to apply.

4. Select the face to draft.

5. Select the fix edge(s) of this face.

6. Select the  OK  button to select another face.

7. Select on the  COMPUTE FILLET(S)  to start the draft angle computation.

Available option(s):

 The  Propagation on tangent edges= YES  or  NO  allows you to set as fix edges all tangent edges of the selected face.

 The  REFERENCE FACE  button allows you to select as fix edges all adjacent edges of the selected face.

Specific point(s):

 You can select again an already selected face to remove it from the selection list.
