Modify face - Move feature or face
Menu access : Shape | Toolbox | Modify face
Description :
Allows to apply a displacement transformation ( translation, rotation, symmetries or positioning) on a face or a feature.
The shape to modify must be non associative.
We call feature a set of faces that define an operation (pocket, boss, drilling...) but without any associativity information.
The reference face is the face (or one of the faces) on which the feature is.
General philosophy :
Select the faces to modify and validate with OK .
Choose the type of transformation to apply.
Available option(s):
The option Move
= FEATURE or
FACE
allows
to move a single face or a feature.
In the case you choose to move a
feature, the option Selecting
mode = FACE or
LOOP
allows
to select the feature face by face or by selecting an edges loop on a
face.
