Copy a boss
Menu access: Shape | Manage | Copy operation
Description:
Allows you to copy a boss operation.
General philosophy:
Select a face of the boss to copy.
Select the new reference face.
Define the pocket direction.
Select a curve to create the boss from.
Optional point(s):
The REFERENCE
FACE button
allows you to use the boss reference face as the element that defines
the normal direction of the new boss.
The SAME
AS TEMPLATE button
allows you to use the same direction as the one of the copied boss.
The DUPLICATE
CURVE button
allows you to duplicate the starting curve of the boss in order to create
the new one. Then you need to define the transformation to apply on it.
The OTHER
CURVE button
allows you to create a new boss contour directly in the function.
The option Merge
parameters= YES or
NO
allows
you to choose if you want or not the copied boss to shape the same parameters
as the source boss. Then, the modification of one of them will produce
the automatic modification of the other ones.
You can choose to hide the curves
used to create the new boss by using the option Hide
curves= YES or
NO
Specific point(s):
This function simply reuse
the parameters of the pocket construction. The section curve of the new
pocket have to be define.
