Menu access: Shape | Block

Description:

Allows you to create a parallelepipedic block primitive using an alignment point and three lengths.

General philosophy:

  1. Enter the length along X direction (of the current coordinate system).

  2. Enter the length along Y direction (of the current coordinate system).

  3. Enter the length along Z direction (of the current coordinate system).

  4. Select the alignment point.

Available option(s):

You can also create a block by directly clicking the two diagonal points (not in the same plane).

The positioning modification allows you to locate the block relatively to its alignment point.

The  ENCLOSING BLOCK  button allows you to create a bloc enclosing one or more element(s).

In this mode, you can choose between  Follow= SUBSEQUENT OPERATIONS  /  EXISTING OPERATIONS

The option  Minimal box= YES  /  NO  allows you to define if the enclosing box is created according to the axis of the current coordinate system or according to the global bulk of the selected elements.

The following dialog box appear after the selection of the elements to enclose:

The enclosing box is oriented according to the axis of the current coordinate system.

The button  Identical values  allows to apply to all the margin, the value set in the X- .

The button  NEW BLOCK  allows you to define new dimension for the block to position.

Specific point(s):
