You have the choice between 2 modes :
3D Mode : Hanging to the picked point (default mode).
2D Mode : Hanging to the picked point projected on the XY plane of the current coordinate system (the Z coordinate in the current coordinate system is always equal to 0).

In the following example, the red contour has been created with the 3D mode using the green point at the top of the shape. The cyan contour has been created with the 2D mode using exactly the same point than the red contour. |
