Measure mode :

This area allows to choose the measure mode when picking a value from an element.

• : Recovery of the picked element value with link creation (default value).

• : Recovery of the picked element value without link creation.

This mode is used when creating a new parameter.

For example, when you create a parameter which display a contour length, if this parameter is created with , it will be automatically re-compute at the time of the modification contour, otherwise, if this parameter is created with , it will keep the same value at the time of the modification contour.
