The palettes

TopSolid gives you access to 2 icons palettes. Each of them allows you a quick access to frequently used functionality. Only the palette of graphical attributes is displayed when you first start TopSolid. To display or hide the different palettes, you need to right click on the menu line and select the one you need or want to remove.

  • To hide/display the different palettes, you have to right click with the mouse on the menu bar and check/uncheck the palette that you want to hide/display.

Pre-defined line style

This palette allows you to quickly change the current thickness and line type. You can keep in memory 4 pre-defined line types with specific thickness and color. By selecting a pre-defined line style you set in one single selection the current line type, line thickness and color.

To re-define the line style displayed in these icons, you just need to select the icon to affect with the right mouse button. It will automatically take the current values of color, line thickness and line type.

Layers

This palette allows you to quickly activate/deactivate 6 layers you choose.

When a layer icon button is pushed down, it means the layer is active. The green icon is the current layer. Double clicking on a number automatically set it current.

In order to change the layer number associated to the button, select it with the right mouse button. A dialog box will appear and asks you for the new layer number that you want to affect with the button.
