Rendering options

When selecting this icon it opens a dialog box where you can define the type of elements to visualize in a view or in the document and set the gouraud rendering options.
The Show tab allows you to choose options for better shape’s representation. You can ask to visualize the middle of faces, the tangent edges in half tone, and the shape tangency lines (called silhouette lines).
In order to choose the type of elements to see in different view windows of your document, you will use the Filter tab. Example: you can decide to see only the wireframe entities in one view, the surfaces and solids only in another one and all elements in another view.
The Rendering tab allows you to configure the rendering :
The texture quality,
The transparency quality (only for shaded views),
The antialiasing (only for realistic rendering),
The display speed (only for dynamic mode),
The background image (only for realistic rendering),
The bump visualization (only for realistic rendering),
The facetting,
The shadows (only for realistic rendering).
