Dimension
Menu access: Piping | Dimension
Description:
Allows you to create quick dimensions on your pipeline 2D view (created with Pipeline | Main view).
You can create a dimension on one component or between two component.
The dimensions are connected with the component on its dimension points defined in the component model file with the function Piping | Define dimension points.
General philosophy:
Select the piping 2D view on which you want to add dimensions.
Select a line of the first component.
Click on the STOP button if you just want to dimension this component or select an other component of the pipeline the create a dimension between them.
Position the dimension.
Available option(s):
The option Orientation=
MEASURE..... allows you to choose according which plane you want
to dimension the component.
The button ALIGNMENT
allows
you to select a point, line or an other dimension to align it with this
element.
Specific point(s):
In this version, you can only dimension length;
you cannot dimension angle on isometric view.
