Define symbol

Menu access: Piping | Define symbol

Description:

Allows to create easily 2D symbols for your piping components.

They will used in a schematic representation in TopSolid'Draft.

General philosophy:

1. Give a name.

2. Select the element(s) of symbol.

3. Validate with the  STOP  button.

4. Give the homotethie center. It will be used when the scale factor of a schematic representation in TopSolid'Draft is modified in order to have a coherent proportion.

Available option(s):

The  Symbol = GENERAL VIEW / FACE VIEW  button allows to create two symbols for your component.

Specific point(s):

Symbols are grouped into the symbols set. You can edit it in the construction tree. For that, open the construction tree, choose Edit in the contextual menu and select "SET PIPE SYMBOL" (it will be not available if no symbols have been defined).
