Plate cam joint

 

Description :

Allows you to create a plate cam joint between two elements.

 

General philosophy:

  1. Choose in the list:

  1. Select the base element (cam)

  2. Select the linked element (plate).

  3. Select the curve (associated with the cam).

  4. Select the rotation axis of the cam.

  5. Select the translation direction. The direction must be from the rotation axis of the cam to the contact point between the cam and the plate.

  6. Enter the joint name or select the ANONYMOUS button.

 

Specific point(s):

The driven joint(s) must be the only ones named before the creation of the scenario. They will be the only ones to appear on the scenario. You can give a name to the other joints in the symbolic tree.
