Visualisation options

All the parameters listed below are available for each document, however their initial value can be set using the Tools | Options function.

Middle faces :

Allows to display one or several middle curves on each faces of a part.

No middle curve

1 middle curve

2 middle curves

Silhouette faces :

Allows to display the lines of a part along the view direction.

Silhouettes 3 axes :

Allows to display the lines of a part along the absolute coordinate system axes

Invisible elements  :

Allows to show or hide invisible elements of the current document, this option is the same than the Inv=Hid available in the status bar.

Not blank elements  :

Allows to show or hide visible elements of the current document.

Coordinate system always visible :

In this mode the coordinate system are always shown whatever their layer or visibility attribute.

Draw smooth edge in half tone  :

When this option is unticked, smooth edges (fillet contour) are displayed using the colour of the part.

When this option is ticked and the part edges are black, the smooth edges are grey.

Draw edge and middle faces with unique color :

When this option is unticked, part edges and middle faces are displayed using the colour of the part.

When this option is ticked, the edges and the middle faces colour can be modified using the button wich displays the colour.

Draw boundary edge with unique color :

When this option is unticked, part boundary edges are displayed using the colour of the part.

When this option is ticked, the boundary edges colour can be modified using the button wich displays the colour.

Draw internal faces with unique color :

When this option is unticked all the faces of a surface are displayed using same colour.

When this option is ticked, the internal faces colour can be modified using the button wich displays the colour.

The side of the internal face is computed according to the normal of the surface, you can change the normal direction using Shape | Other operations | Invert function.

Exact display mode :

When this option is unticked, hatching pattern modification is not visible.

When this option is ticked, it allows to use the hatching pattern editor using the Modify element function. This editor allows the change the hatching parameters (angle, spacing,...) of the available hatching pattern.

Compute hidden lines of overlapping bodies :

This option allows to improve the hidden lines managment with documents which contains intersecting parts.
