Advanced copy (Copy array)

Menu access : Edit | Copy with ADVANCED COPY option.

Description :

Copy element with a propagation.

General philosophy :

1. Click on the COPY ARRAY button.

2. Choose the transformation and define it.

3. Select the element to copy, you can select several elements with the icon.

Available option(s) :

If you choose Duplicate current frame=YES, TopSolid (or TopSolid/Draft) will duplicate the current frame for each copy and the new created element(s) will depend of each frame.

If you choose Duplicate current frame=NO, all the new created element(s) will depend of the current frame.

Result :

The new created elements are the same than the initial elements, they have the same symbolic tree and all the definition elements are copied to.

Specific point(s) :

You can change the layer of the new element(s), you only have to give the layer number (or the layer name) before selecting element(s). When the copy is done, you have the choice to delete or not the original elements (in order to avoid to get superposed elements).
