Level dimension note

Menu access: Dimension | Level dimension note

Description:

Allows to dimens level (planar faces) according to a reference plane.

General philosophy:

1. Choose a reference view.

2. Select a reference face on a 2D view or choose the  POINT  option and then select a coordinate system in the template document.

3. Define or choose a dimension style then pick the face to dimens.

4. Locate the level dimension on your document.

Available option(s):

The  POINT  option allows to select a coordinate system in the template document as reference face.

Specific point(s):

Level dimensions are not supported in section views, detail views and interrupted views.

Level dimensions are automatically included in the LEVEL DIMENSIONS SET. This set contains level dimensions of your document and the reference plane.

Only one reference plane can be defined in a document. This reference plane can be deleted by editing the LEVEL DIMENSION SET in the symbolic tree.

Several dimension styles can be defined, modified and deleted with the File | Properties - Dimension - Style for taper and level function.
