Regenerate table

Menu access : Bill of material | Regenerate table

Description :

Allows to regenerate a table (bill of material table or catalog table) included in a TopSolid/Draft document after 3D parts or 3D assemblies modification.

General philosophy :

Pick the bill of material to regenerate or choose the ALL TABLES option to regenerate all the tables of the current document.

Specific point(s) :

Table to be updated are displayed with a red cross (as view to be updated). The File|Regenerate and View|Regenerate functions allows to regenerate table too.

The automatic table regeneration can be de-activated in the current document, you have to untick the "Automatic update of bills of material" option in "File | Properties - Table / Bill of material - Bill of material", this option can also be set for all the document with the"Tools | Options - Table / Bill of material - Bill of material".

Generally, a bill of material is automatically update when the geometry of a referenced part is modified. In some case, this update is not automatic because it will arrived too many times and it will take too long time so this function allows to force the bill of material update in this case.
