Parts modification

The dialog box below allows you to manually change your part properties.

A double click on a value allows you to change your part properties. The Edit part(s) function available in the contextual menu that appears when you make a right click on a line allows you to open the template document.

Modifications are directly done in the set or the part characterics or properties except for standard components where modification are done in the assembly document.

When a part has not been indexed in the drafting document, the part modification allows to directly put an index in the template document. However, the bill of materials table will be updated only when an index will be created in the drafting document.

Because modifications are directly done on part template documents, it is recommended to untick the "Automatic update of views" in "File | Properties - Projection parameters" in order to avoid document regeneration after validation of the dialog box.

Manual modifications have priority on part modifications

It is not possible to modify computed values like part number, profile length or mass.
