Description :

Allows to locate automatically parts of a bill of material in a TopSolid/Draft document.

General philosophy :

If there's no bill of material in the drawing, TopSolid/Draft begin to create one by proposing you to choose a template and position the bill of material table (see the Bill of material function).

If your drawing already contains a bill of material, adjust your index like describe below :

1. Choose the number of text contained in the index and type your texts.

2. Choose the index style.

3. Pick a view in your TopSolid/Draft document.

Specific point(s) :

Indexes are automatically located on the magnetic coordinate system.

The parts automatic indexing doesn't works on interrupted view, detail view and local section.
