Number set automatically
Menu access: Assembly | Number set automatically
Description:
Allows to affect an index automatically or according to criteria at all elements of the main assembly.
General philosophy :
Choose the Bill Of Material template to use.
Configure options and validate with the OK button.
Available option(s) :
The Numbering
mode = USE ELEMENT TYPE or
AUTOMATIC
button
numbers elements of the main assembly
according to predefined index (set them in the Tools
| Options function, TopSolid'Design document) or automatically.
The Remove
indexes = NO button
allows you remove existing indexes. Set the button as YES
and
validate with OK
.
In the advanced options ( >>
button),
the Bill
of material template = button
allows you to choose another Bill of material template.
In the advanced options ( >>
button),
the Display
bill of material in tree = YES button
allows you display the BOM in symbolic tree of TopSolid.
In the advanced options ( >>
button),
the Depth
= menu
allows you to choose the BOM depth
to use.
In the advanced options ( >>
button),
the Modify
part documents = NO allows
you, in case of bottom up assembly, to transmit the numbering in the template
document.
Specific point(s):
It is possible to use Number set
automatically function and activate/deactivate the BOM display in the
tree from the symbolic tree. You just have to edit the main assembly and
to use the right click on it
