Description :
Allows you to define your own extruded component on witch you can use process as MITRE CUT, MAIN CUT or PLANAR CUT

General philosophy :
Create a coordinate system and set it as current
Use the Edit | name function to name this frame fr1
Create an closed
contour (in a way that the coordinate system fr1
remains approximately in the center of the contour). ![]()
Create a duplicated coordinate system of fr1 (by translation along Z+ and lg=100 as distance)
Name this new coordinate system fr2.
Extrude the contour
using the line as direction and click on the second coordinate system
to give the length.![]()
Add the part to the set using the Assembly | define part function.
Define at least
one point as key point using the Assembly
| Define component | Define key point function.![]()
Save the component in your library using the Assembly | Define component | Edit/save template function.
Use the Assembly | Define extruded component function and select your extruded shape. Then save the file.
Create a catalog using the Assembly | Define component | Edit catalog header function.
Include the component using the Assembly | Include standard function. Click two points to position it.

This type of component allows you
to position extruded component along a contour and to create MITRE CUT,
MAIN CUT or PLANAR
