Description:
This function creates the intermediate surface on which the part will be stamped.

General procedure:
The principle consists in tangentially extending the set of surfaces situated on a given side of an edge path.
Note: you can also use this function to extend the edges of a surface, for example, to design the trimming surface of a punch or a forming die.
Select the edge or edges to extend.
Next, select the
reference surface, the face that will be extended.

Available option(s):
IMPRINT
AN EDGE ON PART creates a missing edge on the part that will be
included in the selection of boundary edges. This option is the same as
the TopSolid'Design cut face function
or the TopSolid'Progress cut face function.
Continue automatically =
YES automatically extends the edges selected
on the part.
Check if selection of edges
is closed = YES allows you to view holes on
the contour created by the selected edges if the selection is not closed.
They are marked by red dots.
Extension = 10
mm adjusts the value of the extension to be made.
The extension mode
of the surface can be determined with the dropdown menu below.

Sew to reference shape =
NO allows you to choose whether or not the faces
generated are sewn to the part.
You can modify the sewing
tolerance of the surface generated with the part.
SET DIRECTION
allows you to impose a specific extension direction
on the extremities of boundary edges
