Description:
Use this window to select the forming treatment parameters.

General procedure:
Click on the different fields of the image below

Four simulation flattening modes are proposed for the forming treatment:
Reconstruction of boundaries only:
This option calculates the flat model of the
part by recalculating only its boundaries
It is the most realistic calculation method, but it is fairly difficult to use during the creation of the strip.
Reconstruction of boundaries and internal faces:
This option is the same as the first one, except
that it also recalculates the geometry of all the faces of the original
part:
It gives a more precise description of the stresses applied on each side of the part.
Reconstruction of formed zones only (global simulation):
This option combines the results obtained during
unbending and those obtained by simulation.
Parts that have not been explicitly declared as formed zones are processed using unbending methods. This is why unbending parameters can be defined in this window.
The formed zones are flattened by simulation and are then reconnected to the unbended zones.
This method is the one that gives the best results when creating the strip.
Reconstruction of formed zones only (local simulation):
Unlike the previous option, here, a simulation is made for each formed zone and not for the entire part. This option is recommended in cases where the parts have undercuts.
Options linked to unbending parameters:
The total bend loss is calculated via the bending tables. (check the corresponding box), or via options in the first tab.
The calculation method chosen here will only act on bends that do not have a defined individual bend allowance process.
you can also select the material you want from a list of materials that has been filled in beforehand.
