Description:
Carries out cuttings on the strip.

General procedure:
Indicate the curve that defines the cutting on the drafting area or directly on the station.
Select the destination station if necessary.
If you want to define complex cutting areas, use the draft area at the beginning of the strip.
To easily create cutting profiles:
- It is recommended that you use the
curve
concatenation functions
- Or profile creation functions with "pass on segment".
Available option(s):
PROFILE
ON STATION is used to copy the contour of a part face on a station,
and thus define the cutting profile. The operation will be directly applied
on the selected station.
You can choose the punching mode
with the following dropdown menu:
Hide tools = YES
hides or shows the cutting contour on the strip.
Create hatched areas = YES allows
you to create or not to create cutting hatches.
Use current colour for cutting
curves = YES allows to
choose the colour of the punching curve. You can choose this option by
default with tools |options | Progressive
tool | Draft area.
Automatic selection = YES automatically selects all the curves from the
same set.
To do this, use Assembly | Include set/part to insert the curves to be punched on the strip
Particular remark(s):
It is possible to include standard profiles to create
notches on the punching contours.
Possible modification(s):
Using the
modify
function
on the cutting contour will allow you to:
REPLACE TEMPLATE CURVE : allows to choose an another template curve on the draft area.
Change the positioning mode with the following dropdown menu:
