You can create different types of measurements:

A distance measurement will give the distance between the positioning coordinate system and a face on which you clicked during positioning. The same principle applies to diameter on and length on measurements.

A manual measurement is not based on the component's environment. It will enable you to manually eliminate the component's catalog codes. It will be automatically located in the box provided:
