Progressive die | Punches and dies | Head
Description:
Creates a punch head.
.
General procedure:
Select the face reference for head.
Define the head characteristics of the punch in the dialog box.
Then define the characteristics of the machining processes.
Click on the different zones of the image below
Available option(s):
Selection = FACE
: Allows to choose the reference face for head.
Selection = PROFIL: Allows to choose a profil for reference. If you choose this option, the center of mass and the bounding box are defined with this profil. You can choose Hide profil =YES.
Reference frame = AUTOMATIC:
This frame allows to orient the head. The automatic orientation is the
die base frame. It is possible to chosse an another frame with the option
Reference frame = MANUAL.
ON
FRAME : allows to choose the head frame. With this option, the
position is fixed with this frame, but you can shift or rotate it.
Possible modification(s):
Using the
modify 
function
on the head will allow you to re-open the head parameters windows.
