Quick ruled

You select a closed parting line, the software computes a barycenter point of this line, and rules between this point and the parting line.

The option, Check with shapes = YES allows to the system to analyze the geometry close to the parting lines (tangency, continuity,...). You may see a correct result with this mode = NO, and failed with mode = YES.

This kind of surface is non associative. It means that they are no links with the parting lines. If the shape change, then update the parting lines, you will have to create another time the surface.
