The hole detection does not show you the holes on the
parting surfaces. To check them, please copy the boundary edges of your
sewed parting surfaces.Testing the surfaces
The system controls that every sewed parting surface is linked to a segment of the parting line. If this is not the case the system will show "holes".
Select the part (meaning the plastic part).
Select the surfaces or ALL SURFACES (meaning parting surfaces).
You have also the possibility of SELECT OTHER PARTS (in case of a multi-cavity mold).
Ask for a HOLE DETECTION.
If there are no holes detected, the parting surfaces could be considered as valid to create the cavity blocks. If holes are detected the parting surfaces must be corrected.
