Trimming rules

If the ejector pin is situated on the part

The ejector pin is trimmed by the molding surfaces of the part.

If the ejector pin is situated on the parting line inside the cavity blocks

The ejector pin will be trimmed by the parting surface.

If the ejector pin is situated off from the cavity blocks

The ejector pin will be trimmed by the opposite plate (A side core/cavity plate if the ejector pin is inserted in the ejection set).
