Context  Ejection

Description:

Allows to insert ejection components.

Available options:

There is now only one type of ejector pin. So, you are able to switch at any time form a cylindrical ejetor pin to an oriented one. Open the symbolic tree, and edit the ejector pin to change it to the other type.

If the ejector pins head are too close, you can choose to trim these heads.

Having in mind the specific use of this kind of components there are trimming rules that are automatically applied at the insertion.

The ejector pins can be linked to the part position. If you move the part, the ejector will move in the same time. The component can be linked to the plate if you do not want the previous mode.

If you choose, you can deactivate the automatic process  before positioning  the ejector pins to facilitate the insertion. Once they are in place you can create the processes using the process function .

 

Straight ejector pin

General procedure:

  1. By default, the ejector pin is inserted regarding the PART FRAME. Click to switch to the PLATE  mode.

  2. Select positioning mode.

  3. Select insertion type.

  4. If you want to apply a inclusion value to the ejector click on NO.

  5. Select the positioning point or circle.

  6. If the component need it, set the trimming of the head.
