Description:

Allows to insert a spring.

General procedure:

  1. Select insertion face.

  2. Select the ending face to compute the constraint of the spring. If you do not want to define it, OK.

  3. Select a reference component to automatically define the diameter. If you do not want to define it, OK.

  4. In the window selection, select a representation between NORMAL and SIMPLIFIED.

  5. If you have not define the reference component, select insertion point.

  6. Once the code selected, the software asks you to COMPRESS SPRING. If you do not need it, OK. Then the spring is inserted with a length, L, the work length of the spring (computed at  ~60% / 75% regarding the type and the standard of the component). Should the opposite occur, the spring will be compressed between the insertion face and the ending face.
