Propagation on curve
Description:
Allows you to define propagation along a curve.
![]()
General philosophy:
Select the reference curve for the propagation.
Select the transformation mode.
Enter the number of points.
Select the element to propagate
Available option(s):
There is two distribution modes available:
Distribution mode = DISTRIBUTE : n instances on the curve length.
Distribution mode = MARK OUT : each instance is at a distance n from the next one.
You can choose between different transformation modes
on the curve:
point to point : doesn't change the instance orientation.
constraint coordinate system : changes the instance orientation by the tangent and normal of the curve and it doesn't consider the 3D curve inflexions. The distribution depends on the current coordinate systems that can not be collinear to the curve tangent.
Frenet coordinate systems : changes the instance orientation by the tangent and normal of the curve and it does consider the 3D curve inflexions.
