Description:

Creation of a pocket electrode

General philosophy:

1. Select a face (the selection is "open" and allows the selection of more than one face) to start the automatic detection. If you need it, you can IMPRINT or select a CONTOUR to do this selection.

2. The software creates a visual selection, you can now:

• ISOLATE THE SHEET for a later use

• Add or remove faces from / to the selection

• VALIDATE the selection for a direct use.

3. Before to continue, select your healing mode.

4. Fill the tabs to define your electrode:

7. Additional data

8. Electrode positions

4. Set the constraints for the radius analysis and for the convexity computation.

5. If all the radius are not recognized by the system, you can add or remove only RADIUS FACES.

Specific point(s)

Electrode base and/or CSYS modifications are allowed only during modification step (not accessible during the electrode creation).

When you will fill the table, you can go from a cell to another one by pressing TAB.

ENTER will create the electrode.

If the healing succeed, it creates an operation line the symbolic tree. The remove operation is named with the same name than its electrode.

If the healing succeed, it creates a representation of the part to machine. You can change the representation from the tree, to recover the status of the part without the healing.

You can delete the operation without any risk for the linked electrode. On the contrary, the suppression of an electrode will also delete the healing operation linked.

It is possible to modify the electrode after its creation with the function .
