Create an electrode on faces

Description:

Creation of an electrode on faces.

General philosophy:

1. Select edges defining the profile of the electrode.

2. The software creates a visual selection, you can now:

• ISOLATE THE SHEET for a later use

• Add or remove faces from / to the selection

• VALIDATE the selection for a direct use.

3. Before to continue, select your healing mode.

You can select your edges directly on you part or use the selection with .

You can as well create use a .

Specific point(s):

During the edges selection, there are "green" circles that informs you about the continuity of your selection

Electrode base and/or CSYS modifications are allowed only during modification step (not accessible during the electrode creation).

When you will fill the table, you can go from a cell to another one by pressing TAB.

ENTER will create the electrode.

If the healing succeed, it creates an operation line the symbolic tree. The remove operation is named with the same name than its electrode.

If the healing succeed, it creates a representation of the part to machine. You can change the representation from the tree, to recover the status of the part without the healing.

You can delete the operation without any risk for the linked electrode. On the contrary, the suppression of an electrode will also delete the healing operation linked.

Available modification(s):
