Spherical orbital electrode creation

Description:

Creation of a spherical orbital electrode.

General philosophy:

  1. Select a face to start the automatic detection. If you need it, you can IMPRINT or select a CONTOUR to do this selection.

  2. The software creates a visual selection, you can now:

  3. ISOLATE THE SHEET for a later use

  4. Add or remove faces from / to the selection

  5. VALIDATE the selection for a direct use.

  1. Fill the tabs to define your electrode:

By default, the spherical orbital electrode is created with the possibility to manage an undersize.

 

 

 

  1. Set the constraints for the radius analysis and for the convexity computation.

  2. If all the radius are not recognized by the system, you can add or remove only RADIUS FACES.

Specific point(s)

Electrode base and/or CSYS modifications are allowed only during modification step (not accessible during the electrode creation).

When you will fill the table, you can go from a cell to another one by pressing TAB.

ENTER will create the electrode.

With the orbital strategy, it is not allowed to heal the area for later machining.

Available modification(s):

It is possible to modify the electrode after its creation with the function .

The undersize value is not associative.
