Define a part to be controlled mean indicating to TopSolid'Control which solid or which surfaces should be controlled. This function allows also to define the security block
The notion of part in TopSolid'Control includes
A solid (consisted of one or several bodies) or a surface (one surface or a set of surfaces connecting with the design sew function)
A coordinate system
A security block.
It will not be possible to control surfaces or the faces of a solid not belonging to a part.
The user has to define only ONE part.
Select the menu
"Part | Create" or click on the icon.
Select the solid or the face representing the part to control.
Click on the construction plane defining the program’s origin. This coordinate system is only used to define the axis of the security block.

If the machine possesses at least one axis of rotation, TopSolid Control suggests to calculate in automatic all the Wcs of this part. For that, the following dialog box appears.
