Approach distance

It's the distance (E) of the lead in/out of the points to measure  which are in blue colour in the following drawing.

The lead in points ( magenta colour) are created perpendicularly to the  face to measure, on the measured points (blue ones). They are given with the center of the ball touch.

The green points represent the Lead in/out of the operation. They are created perpendicularly to the face to measure, at the intersection with the security block (distance (F)). They are given with the center of the ball touch.
