Create on one or several faces a cloud of points (blue points on the image below).
The method of creation of these points can be:
In constant Z with repartition = PARALLEL.
By cutting faces with a ZX plan with repartition = MERIDIANS. This method is useful especially for faces of cylindrical forms.
This function is associative. It is possible to modify the number of points and the intervals with the function Geometry | Modify meridians and parallels.
Every point can be measured with the function "Measurement | Points"

During the definition of the number of points or the step, a visualization of the resulting points is made.
The Z axis of the selected frame has to be approximately the axis of rotation for the faces.
The origin and X axis of the selected frame serve of reference for the starting angles (angle of the first meridian and angle of the first point).
Select the menu "Geometry | Meridians and parallels".
Click on the frame to use for the points definition.
Define one or several faces.
A dialog box and a visualization of the result appear. Modify some parameters if necessary and confirm to have the points.
