Purpose

Create an instruction of control of a radius or a diameter with its tolerance.

The instruction will be

• TOL/DIAM (for the diameter)  in the DMIS file.

• TOL/RAD (for the radius)  in the DMIS file.

Understanding the function

For a control of a radius, the tolerance must be given to the radius.

For a control of a diameter, the tolerance must be given to the diameter.

In both case, it's necessary to select one element.

This element can be :

• A measurement already done  (measurement of circle, cylinder)

• A geometrical element (circle, cylinder) on which an operation of measure will be in advance created if it's not done yet.

How to use

1. Select the menu "Control | Dimensional | Diameter - Radius" or click on the   icon.

2. Click on the Purposeton to define a new diameter control or on the  Purposeton for a new radius control.

3. Select the element (face,circle, measure).

•  If the element is not a measure,

•  It's possible to use the existing measure (if the element was already measured) or to make again the measure.

• The measure will be done in automatic before the control if no measure was done.

4. A dialog box appears. Modify some parameters if necessary and confirm .
