Purpose
Assigns a SINGLE Z to lead in and out moves for all the works coordinate system for a part created on a 4 or 5 axes machine, to avoid collisions during rotations of the machine tool’s table, plate or spindle.
Select the menu ‘Work coordinate system / Global clearance’.
In non-automatic mode, TopSolid'Cam uses lead in and out values defined for each work coordinate system.
In automatic mode, TopSolid'Cam uses a single altitude value for lead in and out moves for all the part’s works coordinate system. This altitude is defined as Z global. Lead in and out values cannot be modified when this mode is used.
