Step maxi

This parameter is available ONLY if the levelling method is "Partial continue"

It's the maximal horizontal distance in the direction of machining, for the levelling. So if the levelling distance  is bigger than this value, this one is decomposed, as well as the roughing passes.

Example 1: Step maxi > A:

• In that case, the levelling pass (8) is made in only once.

Example 2 :  A <= Step maxi < A+B

• In that case, the roughing and levelling are split in two areas:

Roughing 1 to 4

First levelling (5)

Roughing 6 to 8

Second levelling (9).
